Quick and Easy Beef Pho
Ingredients:
- 100g fresh bean sprouts & Asian fresh herbs (basil, spring onion or white onion)
- 800ml water
- 250g beef, very thinly sliced (substitute beef with cooked chicken or tofu)
- 1 Golden Lotus Vietnamese Pho Kit
- Open the herbs and spices bag, and place the infusion sachet in a pan of 800ml boiling water. Turn down the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Add the chicken meat (if chicken is your choice) into the boiling soup. Place lid on the pan and leave for 15 minutes until meat is cooked.
- Remove the herb and spice infusion sachet from the pan, squeezing with a spoon against the edge of the pan and then discard. The herb soup is now ready.
- Add the noodles into the boiling soup and cook for 7 minutes.
- Ladle the soup together with noodles and chicken in 2 individual serving bowls.
- Place thinly slice raw beef or tofu (if they are your choice) over the noodles and top with fresh bean sprouts & herbs.
- Add the Hoisin and Siracha sauce as desired to your own taste. Serve hot.
